We're from America

All of those who know me knew when I started my blog that when this day came, I would have to post about it. The new Manson album is set for release on may 26 and the first single set for release will be Arma(goddamnmotherfucking)geddon. However, a sneak peek is currently avalable at marilynmanson.com of the song "We're from America". It will be avalable to fans through registration for seven days, starting yesterday. Aparently, it was uploaded rount ten in the evening Swedish time, then taken back down for a few hours. (How exclusive, haha :p) but is now there 24/7 untill March 3. Also, a new main page has been created for the site and new artwork uploaded, including the paintings of model Isani Griffith (which are among my personal favourites).

When I get this album in my hands I will turn my phone off, shut the blinds, put it on...and let myself be taken on the ride he's intended for us to be taken on. I can't wait. I'm so friggin excited about this album I'm about to wet myself. Not only for the simple reason that it's my first time ever actually anticipating a new Manson record (I discovered him properly only two years ago, just after the release of Eat Me, Drink Me thanks to The Golden Age Of Grotesque) but also because he's back. Back to the Manson I love and admire. He got his FIRE back. I do and will always appreciate "Eat Me, Drink Me" for the fact that it pulled him out of his depression saved him from suicide (and for Tim Sköld's orgasmic guitar solo in "Putting Holes In Happiness") but the style of its music really didn't strike a chord with me. Now, however...he's come back harder and angrier, just the way I like him. I will rock my saggy white ASS off on June 27!! :p Lyrics below (and remember; it's repetitive for a reason.
